The Challenge
Lehigh Lawns & Landscaping, based out of Wappingers Falls, NY, has spent the last 30 years providing landscape design, fertilization, maintenance, and commercial snow management services. As one of the largest landscaping companies in the area, Lehigh needed a way to better attract and communicate with the many different types of target customers. Their previous SEO and website limited their ability to attract these potential opportunities.
How We Helped
Halstead Media started with an upgraded content strategy first. Beginning March 2016, we carefully researched the keywords their current website was optimized and compared it to the desired keywords (which we identified using keyword analyzing tools combined with the services Lehigh wanted to focus on). From there, and then monthly, we created blog content geared to those keywords and of course, locations. Locations were chosen primarily by desired service locations combined with population and average household income. While this was all part of the Search Engine Optimization strategy, these articles were multi-purpose since they were also used to communicate to their followers on Facebook and Twitter.
And traffic did they get! Year over year, for the same time period, Lehigh received almost 30% more traffic! After several months of increasing traffic, Lehigh was ready to start converting more of those visitors. Using Lehigh's existing branding, we gave a completely brand new, fresh look for Lehigh's website. The new look suggested modern, yet classic. It appeals to residential and commercial customers. It communicates design as well as maintenance. It attracts all the right target customers. Just as important as the look, every page offers visitors a call to action with forms placed throughout. Lehigh's new online presence has now been transformed!
