The Work Doesn't Leave. It Gets Pickier.
Hi H Client!
Here's the thing worth knowing about a slow market: the work doesn't necessarily always just leave, it gets pickier about where it goes. The homeowner who used to call three companies calls one, the property manager who might have tried somebody new goes back to whoever feels safe, nobody stops wanting the patio, they get more careful about who they hand it to or delay if they don't have that company. So the work concentrates into fewer companies instead of spreading around, and which side of that you land on has more to do with you than with the market. We published a long piece on this if you want the full article, it will take you about 10-15 minutes to read: Demand Generation for Landscape Companies in a Slower Market.
The point I'd underline is that the companies who come out of a stretch like this ahead aren't the ones who read the market right. They're the ones who kept creating demand while their competitors sat still and waited for it. That's the thinking behind most of what we're building for you right now.
If you want to talk through where your own pipeline is strongest and softest heading into Q4, your Project Manager would be glad to set that up.
One more thing before Thursday. Kelsey is running From Leads to Revenue on September 17 at 2:00 PM ET, and it's the operational half of what I just described. Creating demand only matters if you can see what it turned into. Forty minutes, free, on Zoom, with a live walkthrough of one closed job from first contact to signed contract. Reserve your spot here. Register even if you can't attend and we'll send the recording.
If any of this raises a question about your own account, your Project Manager is the fastest way to an answer.
Until Tuesday,
