3 Time Saving Tips to Streamline Recruiting in CrewRecruiter

Harness the power of automation in your recruiting process. These three tips will help you use CrewRecruiter to its fullest potential, using streamlined features to save you valuable time so you can focus on running your landscape business.

Tip #1: Click Through Applicants Quickly

Instead of clicking back to the dashboard after viewing each applicant, click the < backward or forward > buttons on the applicant page to view the next or previous applicant. 

Tip #2: Create a Link to Share

Share an impressive applicant with other CrewRecruiter users by clicking the Share button from the applicant screen. Next, click the Link to Applicant Viewer option to create a link directly to the applicant for easy sharing.

Tip #3: Customize Application Questions

Don’t waste time reading answers to questions you don’t need. Contact your project manager to remove unwanted questions from the application or to include custom questions to automatically archive applicants who don’t meet specific criteria or add a tag for easy applicant sorting. 

The applicant can be either auto-archived or auto-tagged for sorting based on their response. For example, if hiring for a Crew Foreman position, you could select the Yes/No question format and ask, “Do you have a valid driver’s license?”. If the applicant answers “no”, then their application will be automatically archived, if they answer “yes”, then their application can be auto-tagged as an applicant possessing a driver’s license. Now you don’t have to waste time viewing applications that don’t meet your specified criteria and can focus on the ones that do.
